A Djinn can forget that he is a Djinn

By entering a human biological body, a Djinn can forget that it is a Djinn. Unfortunately, this is true and happens all too often. When the biological body dies, the Djinn hovers over the human body, accompanies it to the funeral, and afterwards hovers over the grave.

Djinn can hover over graves, completely forgotten and having entirely forgotten that they are Djinn. Most Djinn eventually reincarnate as humans, inhabiting a new infant body; as the baby — and the human body — grows older, they are drawn increasingly into that body.

When the baby's body is still that of an infant, the Djinn hovers above it, and the adults or parents very often believe their home is haunted. The baby lies in the living room while the Djinn drifts into the kitchen to look around, causing ghostly activity there. The Djinn has completely forgotten that it is a Djinn and believes itself to be a baby — or a human being.

The Djinn thinks and firmly believes he is a human, but that is not the case. A Djinn will forever and always be and remain a Djinn, even if he has forgotten that he is one. The Djinn plunges into oblivion and utter confusion regarding his own identity.
